BUSHCRAFT

Getting started in survival preparedness can be a overwhelming task with lots of questions to ask. Like 'where do I start', 'what do I need' 'I'm on a budget' and 'It's too complicated'. I had all these questions and more when I first started out.

Hence the reason I have put together a collection of information and reputable links (which will be added as I go along) to help you get started.

Survival Instinct - Preparedness is a collection of free to use information of bushcraft, prepping and homesteading.

The Supply Hut is being migrated to a separate store, so it will not be available at this time, We will update you when the new store is live.

At Survival Instinct - Preparedness we want the information to be straight forward.

With information on some skills needed so you can protect your life, family, and home in an emergency.

This website is a work in progress. I will be adding more great content as we move on.

Please read the about me section.

ABOUT ME

I have been interested in survival for a number of years, bushcraft, prepping and homesteading. But finding the time with a full time job and family is not easy. Finally, reality kicked in with the global pandemic, and most recently the war in Ukraine, which has affected us all. Thinking, what if it went the other way. I wasn't prepared for anything. It was a bit of a wake up call and I decided to get my act together. There is no 'what if' scenarios.

There is a lot of negativity about preppers, saying we are survival nuts and set aside from the rest. But the truth is, being prepared can mean anything. From being made redundant (like I was twice in a few years) to not being able to get out (again having to self-isolate, twice) and right to the other side of the scale, total collapse. Anything can happen, so being prepared for it will definitely help you.

Survival Instinct - Preparedness is a tool to help educate you, and point you in the right direction. You could practice bushcraft if you go wild camping, like I do. To storing some supplies for the future. From there it is down to you. I welcome suggestions on all topics, the information on the site is free and it will always we be.

The Supply Hut is being migrated to a separate store, please watch this space and we will notify you when it is live.  If you wish to be kept informed of new and exciting news and items, then please click the join button at the bottom of the pages.
